Gun Permit in Uruguay
In order to buy or sell fire guns in Uruguay, you will need to obtain a permit known as T.H.A.T.A. (Titulo de Habilitación para la Adquisición y Tenencia de Armas). The permit is valid for 5 years.
The process is quite simple and will allow you to get your permit after a month approximately of having filed for the request.
It requires you to take a Psychological test and a shooting course along with other paperwork that needs to be prepared beforehand.
